Bovis Fine Art had the privilege of participating in the relocation of ancient and precious books from the Palais-Bourbon Library of the National Assembly. This historic library is set to undergo a complete restoration.

Bovis Fine Art assisted the teams at Bovis Transport (91) in organizing and executing the relocation of this iconic library.
The service included:
- Removal of works before construction,
- Dusting of all six sides of the books,
- Temporary storage of works during construction,
- Reinstallation of works after construction.
The expertise of Bovis Fine Art was particularly valuable in adopting the best handling and packaging methodologies for the oldest and most precious books in this historic library.

Our logisticians, specializing in art storage, also intervened to organize the storage of collections in our secure spaces. We specially equipped one of our vaults for this project to ensure that the books from the Library of the National Assembly are stored under optimal preservation conditions.
Bovis Fine Art’s vaults are completely secure and maintain museum-worthy preservation conditions, including constant temperature and humidity levels.
