Recap of the Discovery Day on September 13, 2024, at our Bovis Fine Art Bordeaux Agency
On Friday, September 13, 2024, our Bovis Fine Art agency in Bordeaux had the pleasure of welcoming many professionals from the art sector for a discovery day rich in exchanges and sharing. It was the perfect opportunity to present our facilities, showcase our working methods, and open the doors to our world dedicated to the handling and transportation of artworks.
A behind-the-scenes look at our expertise
From the moment they arrived, our guests were warmly welcomed by our team, eager to share their know-how. The guided tour of our facilities was the ideal occasion for them to discover our state-of-the-art infrastructure, specially designed for the conservation and secure transport of artworks. Our clients were able to visualize the place where their artworks are handled and stored. Their interest was evident, and the many questions they asked reflected their fascination with our profession and working environment.
Meetings and exchanges with our experts
Throughout the day, our logistics specialists shared their experience and passion, giving our guests a detailed insight into the handling and packaging techniques we use daily for artworks. These exchanges highlighted the expertise and care that Bovis Fine Art brings to each stage of its services, from the preparation of the artworks to their secure transport.
Demonstrations of our expertise
Our guests had the opportunity to attend demonstrations of artwork handling and packing, showcasing the meticulous techniques we employ to ensure their safety. These presentations demonstrated the level of precision and care required for handling valuable pieces.
Among the demonstrations, our reusable transport crates sparked great interest. The reusable painting crates and sculpture crates, in particular, stood out, meeting our clients’ needs and addressing current environmental challenges thanks to their sustainable and eco-friendly design.
Our guests also had the privilege of witnessing an exclusive demonstration of the installation of an anoxia bubble on-site. Dynamic anoxia, an innovative conservation process, involves removing oxygen around an artwork and replacing it with an inert gas, providing effective protection against insects, without the use of chemicals. This demonstration showcased the expertise of our specialized unit, Bovis Anoxie, which operates throughout France to provide this type of treatment.
A convivial networking moment
The day concluded with a cocktail reception, offering a warm and friendly setting conducive to exchanges between professionals. This moment of relaxation helped strengthen ties with our clients, who expressed their satisfaction in meeting the Bovis Fine Art Bordeaux team. For them, it was essential to get to know the people who take care of their artworks, especially since our agency is the only one of its kind in the Bordeaux region.
A memorable day for our clients and our team
This discovery day was a great success, both for our team, delighted to share their expertise, and for our clients, who were impressed by the quality of our facilities and services. We were honored to provide them with this moment of exchange and to help them better understand the behind-the-scenes of our profession. At Bovis Fine Art, we take pride in building trusting relationships with our clients by providing high-quality services for the handling and transportation of their artworks. This discovery day in Bordeaux was a perfect illustration of that commitment.
