Our expertise in packaging your art works
Whether you are shipping monumental art works or small fragile objects, close to home, over long distances or abroad, the packaging stage is crucial to avoid any risk of damage during transport and delivery. The various stages of packaging art works call for real expertise and very distinct professional specialisms: carpenters for crating, specialist packers, crane operators or even metalworkers for the construction of customised cladding structures… All our teams are experts in their field.

Padding
For our specialist packers, every art work deserves unique care, starting with the choice of packaging. To do so, our teams assess factors such as the type of work (painting, sculpture, archaeological work, drawing, model, etc.), the materials it is made of (marble, bronze, painted wood), its age and state of conservation, its dimensions and weight and the expected transport and handling conditions.
Our craftsmen have a perfect command of the technical handling and have the necessary competence to make genuinely protective casings for your works.
Crates
For art works requiring additional protection, we use custom-made crates from our own workshops or rental crates according to our clients’ needs.
Our carpentry workshops can be transported on site when operations have to be carried out in a very short time or when this facilitates handling.
We are very careful about the choice of the crate used.
